Paper: Aside from being incredibly inexpensive and ultra-fast, I also believe there is an important tactile response drawing and writing off the screen.
Sketch: a great tool for quick responsive design visualization including wireframes, layouts, various prototypes, and component libraries.
Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop & Illustrator can't be beat when generating high-fidelity assets and prototypes.
Invision: My favorite tool for sharing and gathering quick feedback on visual or interactive prototype. Also handy for documenting notes for programmer.
SlickPlan: Cool tool for information architecture, sitemaps, and task flows.
GatherContent: Super helpful online for design team and client to 'gather', manage, and assign content. Helpful API's allow instant content migration to WordPress sites.
WordPress: My favorite solution for custom CMS, hands down.
Google Drive: Great tool for managing projects and documentation.
